George is the manager for Connected and Automated Vehicles at the KTN and he works with all types of organisations involved in this space. He is supporting innovation programmes from DfT, BeIS, CCAV, Zenzic and UKRI; inputs into policy programmes and facilitates knowledge transfer as well as scope the future government interventions in this space. Since joining the KTN at the end of 2017, George has helped UK organisations win more than £60 million in R&D grants as well as achieve projects value of more than £90 million. This has been made possible thanks to the successful collaborations that he has managed to facilitate between organisations of different types. George leads on the delivery of all Connected Autonomous Mobility (CAM) programmes and activities at KTN, supports the ISCF Future Flight challenge and the Nature Inspired Solutions Innovation Network (formerly SIG) as well as being heavily involved in EU projects.
